How to Change Name on Facebook

Facebook has millions of active users so changing a Facebook name by thousands of people daily is natural. We know well that full real name is always helpful to find any person on Facebook. Some of users change their names to hide Facebook profile from their parents. Follow these steps to change Facebook profile name.

1. Login your account in Facebook.

2. Click on the “account setting” option at the top right side of home page.

3. Now in “general account setting,” click on the “edit” option of name.

4. Remove the existing name and enter your new name. It is necessary to enter the first and last name. You may ignore the middle name.

5. At the end, enter your password and click on the “save changes” option. It may take up to 24 hours to update new name on Facebook.

1. First click on the “account” in setting option.

2. From “Full name” field, select the any of name from previously used names.

“Accessories” and “System Tools”. Now from “character map” copy the character of your choice.

2. In account setting, click on the “edit name”.

3. Now paste copied character from character map. Repeat the process for middle and last name. Finally, click on the “save changes”. Now your new name is ready on Facebook.

Edit Facebook fan page name

1. First login your account and open the Facebook page.

2. In top left menu of page, click on manage and select the edit option.

3. In Basic information, you can change the name of your fan page. Also, you can create username for your page.

Change Facebook Group Name

1. From left side bar, click “Groups” and open the group that you want to edit. Click on “more” if you have not found the group.

2. Now click “edit” option of group.

3. Finally, enter your new group name and “save” the changes.
